Twelve year old Jonas lives in a perfect world, free of poverty, crime, war, and strife. When the Elders of the Community choose him to be the Receiver of Memory, Jonas starts a journey to uncover the truth of this place he has always called home. The more he learns, the more he realizes the Community has systematically given up much of what gives life its meaning: color, music, truth, and love. At the end of the story, Jonas faces a decision that will define him and, ultimately, set a course toward hope.

All school matinee performances will begin promptly at 10 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. and will run without an intermission.  All groups should plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to show time.  Seating will generally begin 30 minutes prior to show time.

Tickets for school matinees are $8 per person.  (For every 20 tickets purchased, we are pleased to offer one complementary ticket.)  Payment in full is due four weeks before the date of your field trip.

Any and all changes in group size must be made four weeks before the date of your trip.  Furthermore, these changes can only be made by the contact person who made the initial reservation.

Food and drink are absolutely prohibited inside the venue.  Please advise your group accordingly.
