Delilah’s Wish

By Mariah L. Richardson

Delilah’s Wish is the story of an especially challenging year in the life of an 8-year old girl named Delilah, who lives in Old North St. Louis.  While her mother is away serving in the military, Delilah depends on the people in her neighborhood – people of different religions, different races, different nationalities – to help her get through.  And, as we hear from Delilah, not everyone gets along.

Delilah’s Wish takes audiences on an emotional journey with a resilient child who learns that, despite their differences, people can live together as neighbors who accept and respect, and look after each other.
